I have 4 children. Life is hard with rent to pay each month, electric high, job dont pay much. Moving to the keys would be such a difference to us, campers take 30 bucks of electric, less to clean, better then some trailor park with drugs and crime , family is connected more by spending time with each other rather then diff rooms in the house, if I lost my job we still have a place to sleep and eat. I want to know how much would this affect my kids if other parents have done what I am doing? The beach as our backyard, more money to go places and see things on school break and when they get older (5,4,2, 6 mths now) would they see us as poor or full time vacationers. I save more money now for their college then if we had a nice home and nice furniture and for now our children see fun, I just want what is best for them without DSS thinking we are abusing them. They all have beds, money where we dont need dss to help they all have food, and we do dr just like before only our living home is now a camper. Is this legal or am I making a mistake for later?
A single wide trailor is 56 feet long, so with our camper we have the bedrooms and the kitchen and bathrooms, unlike singlewides they have a living room and a dining room and a laundry room so there goes the other footage from our camper. So it really is not much difference. As for the internet from the rude person most campgrounds offer free wifi plus I am in college so I have to have this to finish my degree to find a better paying job. We are staying in this for years but more like 2 till we are able to afford and I mean afford a place without asking help from dss like most people. We wont be here when the kids are high school but until I finish college this is what we can afford and my kids have what they need they are no where close to going hungry or without clothes so stop with the rude comments.

Can a family of 6 live in a 30 foot camper in Key West and still go to school and live comfortable legally?
